We found the torque by using a scale and a weight, and the rpm using a slow motion video

Then we made the lifting and transport mechanism. We decided to go with a claw attached to a convener belt.
Task: making a mechanism that could lift and carry a five pound dumbbell over a 50mm wall using only one small 6 watt motor.
